This 18-hole golf course was designed by Peter Matkovich and is the first US-style executive course in South Africa. Simbithi has a par of 60 and consists of par 3s, 4s, and one par 5. With its unique layout, you can use every club in your bag and have a challenging golf round. Fig Tree Restaurant is located at the clubhouse and serves delicious food. The Drop Zone bar is the best place to drink and discuss your latest games.
There are fewer par 5's and more par 3's, allowing you to play 18 holes with every club in your bag.

In 1961, Umhlali Country Club opened with a nine-hole golf course. Several years later, Peter Matkovich redesigned the course and added a second nine-hole course. The course and the club underwent a complete transformation in 2006, and the results are undeniable.
Designed by Peter Matkovich, this 18-hole course offers manicured fairways that are easy to walk for both skilled and non-skilled golfers. The flat terrain of Umhlali Country Club surrounds it with indigenous bush, making it a scenic place to play. There is a driving range and Pro Shop at Umhlali Country Club. After the game, head to the restaurant to socialize with fellow golfers and share your scores. If you still have any energy left after playing golf, there are squash courts, tennis courts, and bowling alleys at the clubhouse.
