About North Coast Holiday Homes

Established in 2018, the idea was created from a desire to provide more than just accommodation.

North Coast has so much to offer guests and the best time to explore our amazing Coastline is when you are on holiday.
We did not want to be yet another booking portal providing substandard accommodation with no added value at a time when you most deserve it.

After many years in the industry, we decided to pull away from the mainstream and provide our guests with quality homes, personally checked and prepared for every guest.

We introduced value-added services such as pre-shopping, golf cart hire and everything you require for your baby! This ensures that you get your worn-out feet into the warm, salty beach sand as soon as possible. 
We also provide tailor-made activities so that you can explore our lovely coastal town while providing much-needed support for local businesses.

Principal Property Practitioner / Sales & Rentals

Charmaine's deep passion for real estate ignited her career in the Natal Midlands back in 2001. With an impressive tenure of 15 years as a director for the Institute of Estate Agents South Africa, representing the Pietermaritzburg and interior region, Charmaine's expertise shines through.

Her commitment to her work, demonstrated by her strong work ethic, has garnered her a loyal client
base who have entrusted her with their real estate needs time and time again. In 2018, Charmaine explored new opportunities in Ballito, further showcasing her unwavering dedication to the industry. With a proven track record, she strives to leave a lasting legacy.

Marion Holland

Holiday Rental Specialist

Originally from Johannesburg, I came to Ballito for a family holiday and decided to make the North Coast my home! From an Estate Agency background, holiday letting became my passion. During my many vacations to various areas, I found the local information to be lacking.  I wanted to provide more than just a holiday location for visitors and invited requests for information. My guests return for the experience, often with friends or through referrals. Being an avid problem solver, I thrive on challenges, unusual requests and love testing my negotiating skills.  With a touch of OCD, combined with a hint of ADHD, I am always on the GO!

I find “Coastal time” something that I cannot accept. I live the Coastal lifestyle but will never lose my “Jo’burg time” attitude to tasks.


Matthew Esterhuizen

Rentals Manager

A young, vibrant individual with a passion for mathematics and sciences, Matthew brings valuable skills to the table. With a Cambridge curriculum under his belt, he is able to overcome obstacles and find solutions with a more calculated and strategic approach. His fresh ideas have assisted in revolutionising North Coast Holiday Homes to the benefit of our guests.

Having grown up on the KZN North Coast, Matthew has experienced all the exciting aspects of life in the area. He is an avid adventurer who enjoys exploring new places and taking part in exhilarating activities. Matthew is passionate about sharing his adventures with everyone. His amazing people skills and approachability help him to create strong relationships with all of our guests. Matthew strives to put a smile on all guests’ faces, and ensure that they experience every aspect of life on the North Coast. Ultimately providing them with a beautiful holiday that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Megan Labuschagne

Admin & Marketing

Megan is an enthusiastic team member with amazing attention to detail and artistic flair. With a background in real estate, Megan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, which she utilizes to assist guests with information before their arrival. Her attention to detail is impeccable with an eye for finer details, our homes are presented perfectly every time.

Megan is a meticulous planner who works hard to ensure that everything is in order and planned ahead of time. She utilizes her unique creativity and artistic talent to design new and exciting marketing concepts that have propelled North Coast Holiday Homes to reach more people and change their lives for the better. Megan is always there to pick up the slack where needed. A truly crucial member of the North Coast Holiday Homes team.
