Simbithi Eco Estate

When Simbithi was conceptualised in 2003, ‘home’ was at the heart. Today, the 430-hectare estate embodies the ideology that ‘home’ is not just a location; ‘home’ is a feeling. In its 15 years of existence, Simbithi has become a unique, eco-friendly residential community that co-exists harmoniously with wildlife and nature. A world-class Golf Course, thriving Community Centres and a family-oriented restaurant make Simbithi the estate of choice for families in KwaZulu-Natal.

Zimbali Coastal Resort

Zimbali Coastal Resort is a place where miles of deserted beaches divide the warm Indian Ocean and the lush coastal vegetation. A place where you observe schools of dolphins frolicking in the waves and whale sharks cruising lazily by. A place to enjoy bird watching and encounter over 200 species of birds, and indigenous wild life with shy blue Duiker and families of Bushbuck wandering through.

The features inside this resort are endless – Dine at any one of the nine magnificent restaurants. For golfers, play on the private championship signature five-star golf course. Zimbali is a place where relaxation is key at the tranquil Willow Stream Spa or enjoy the collection of beach view rim flow pools at the ‘Valley of the Pools’.

Ballito & Salt Rock

Salt Rock is a small town just north of Ballito and Shaka's Rock on the Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is a favorite holiday destination for many local South Africans. It is about 40 minutes north of Durban. The KwaZulu-Natal coastline is rugged in places, pristine in others. It is sometimes wild, sometimes welcoming, and always spectacularly beautiful. The trail that winds along the beach from Ballito North to Salt Rock is only five kilometres long, but offers plenty of breath-taking views and gorgeous photo backdrops along the way. This trail takes about an hour to complete, when walking at a comfortable pace. Along the way, you will come across incredible rock formations and platforms, gorgeous stretches of white sands and blue waters, and tidal pools that are irresistible after a walk in the hot South African sunshine. They are also safer for little ones as there are not huge waves and strong currents. What’s more, there is plenty of marine life to explore and discover.

Sheffield

Sheffield Beach is a relatively small beach on the Dolphin Coast in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. It is conveniently situated about 15 to 20 minutes from Ballito, and less than an hour from Durban. Despite being smaller than many of its neighbouring beaches along the east coast of South Africa, Sheffield Beach certainly doesn’t disappoint in terms of appeal. This beach is especially popular for spear fishing, thanks to the many exciting fish species that can be found in these temperate waters. As a result, it is also great for SCUBA diving. What’s more, these are Indian Ocean waters, which means that they are warmer and more inviting than the chilly waters of the Atlantic.

Prince's Grant

Set in the dramatic landscape of KwaZulu-Natal’s north coast, Prince’s Grant is an award-winning residential and golf estate offering the very best in prestigious golfing and luxury accommodation.  Set in a location rich in local history that dates back to 1856, the Prince’s Grant Estate is bordered by lush sugar cane fields on one side and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean on the other.

Come and enjoy everything the Dolph Coast has to offer.
